PHOTOGRAMMETRY & PHOTOMODELING
Photogrammetry analysis uses existing photographs and videos to help aid the analysis during an accident reconstruction. Photographs may contain physical evidence important to a reconstruction. Surveillance videos and “Drive Cameras” can be analyzed frame by frame to provide important data such as position, time, path, speed, and impact.
Vollmer-Gray can reconstruct the physical evidence visible in the photographs and video using an array of computer aided design, analysis and simulation software tools. Other virtual points of view can then be examined to gain more perspective on the case at hand. Site measurements can be determined based on the reconstructed evidence.
